YWCA York was founded in 1891 making this our 125th anniversary! From the start we offered a place for women to come together to learn, strengthen their minds and bodies, and advocate for social change. Over time we expanded our programs and services to serve everyone in our community.

YWCA York responds to the needs of busy families with innovative programs, flexible scheduling, and affordable fees. We are proud of our tradition of promoting wellness and dignity for all people and continue to work for an end to violence and discrimination of all kinds. YWCA York serves over 27,000 individuals annually.
