Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority strives to enrich the quality of community life by connecting people to parks and programs.
The area recreation park, under the management of the Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority (GARA), provides many park services, facilities and recreational courts, 3 playgrounds, an amphitheater, a 20 station fitness trail and a skate park & BMX park.
